Led by Horst L Truestedt, TrueFocus, Inc. has provided hands-on Fibre Channel training and consulting for companies on a global basis. Fibre Channel training seminars have been provided in the US, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore, Japan, Australia, India, and New Zealand. The seminars are usually held on customer premises and can be tailored from 4 hours to 5 days.

We’re also subject matter experts on the following specifications:

* Fibre Channel - Arbitrated Loop (we wrote the standard)
* Fibre Channel - Audio/Visual (we edited the standard)
* Fibre Channel over Ethernet (currently, the hot topic at INCITS T11)

Our chief Fibre Channel consultant, Horst Truestedt, is a member of the INCITS T11.3 and T11 committees for Fibre Channel: the IBM principal voting member from 1985 to 1997; principal voting member for TrueFocus from 1997 to 2010; continuing with Emeritus status since 2010. Besides participating the the Fibre Channel standards from the beginning, Horst has also designed and developed Fibre Channel solutions for several customers.
