I grew up in a family-owned smithing and machine repair business.  My Father was 100% disabled with WWII injuries when I was 7.  Therefore, we all worked in the family business.

After graduation I opened an executive cleaning business to help pay for my education & degree in accounting.  I have been an accountant for profit & non-profit businesses and a financial auditor for a governmental agency.

I am an investor and have been a business owner for 19 years.  I have been a member of numerous boards for wildlife and conservation having grown up in the Whitewater Area. My husband Joe and I  have been Woodland Advisors since the early 90’s.

In 2003, I acquired my Real Estate Agent's License and focused on land and commercial properties for sale and lease. 

In 2006, I joined the RLI (Real Estate Land Institute) for the sale of land & timber.  I also joined the MREE (Minnesota Real Estate Exchange) for the tax-exchange of commercial investment properties.

In 2007, I was encouraged by a prominent local attorney and several clients to obtain my Broker's License.  I did, and now have my own, female-owned, commercial brokerage in Rochester.
